  3.           THE QUIET AGREEMENT TO CREATE A NEW WORLD ARMY!

  12. There was one startling development at the recent economic summit
  13. in Tokyo that was not reported in the extensive newspaper
  14. coverage or in the network television newscasts from the scene:
  15. agreement on the formation of a standing UN army.

  17. EXCLUSIVE TO THE SPOTLIGHT

  20.  The Group of Seven (G-7) industrialized nations formally
  21. endorsed creation of a United Nations army during the recent
  22. economic summit in Tokyo, a fact that is on the public record but
  23. was not reported by the Establishment media.
  24.  
  25.  The G-7 nations (the United States, Britain, France, Canada,
  26. Italy, Germany and Japan) also took action to bring a third great
  27. region of the world, the "Pacific Community," into a political
  28. reality. The other two regions are the European Community and the
  29. "American Community" - as the New World is to be known after the
  30. North American Free Trade Agreement is adopted and eventually
  31. extended throughout the Western Hemisphere.

  33.  Both actions, intended to bring about a world government ruling,
  34. for political convenience, over three major regions, were ordered
  35. by the secret Bilderberg group-Trilateral Commission cabal.
  36.  
  37. Both the Bilderberg group (SPOTLIGHT, May 10) and the Trilateral
  38. Commission directly called for such actions during their annual
  39. meetings this past spring, in Vouliagmeni, Greece and Washington,
  40. respectively.

  42. JOURNALISTS NOT IGNORANT
  43.  
  44.  While the significance of the Pacific Community might have been
  45. missed by some of the 3,000 journalists attending the Tokyo
  46. summit, it is impossible for all of them to be ignorant of the
  47. G-7's endorsement of a world army under UN command.
  48.  
  49. But only Frank Murray of the Washington Times, known to this
  50. writer as an honest reporter from his years with the defunct
  51. Washington Evening Star, dared report this startling development.
  52.  
  53.  "The leaders advocated a stronger peacemaking role for the UN,
  54. specifically endorsing Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali's
  55. vision of a UN army," Murray wrote on July 8.
  56.  
  57.  The UN chief's "Agenda for Peace" specifically calls for a
  58. standing UN army accountable only to the Security Council.
  59.  
  60.  The text of the G-7's joint communique supported "preventive
  61. diplomacy, peacemaking, peacekeeping and post-conflict peace
  62. building in the context of the secretary-general's Agenda for
  63. Peace."
  64.  
  65. CONSTITUTION IGNORED
  66.  
  67.  Although the U.S. Constitution says the president of the United
  68. States is commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces and that
  69. only Congress can declare war, the leaders of the world shadow
  70. government are confident this can simply be ignored. They
  71. celebrate the fact that former President George Bush, after
  72. having his ambassador assure Saddam Hussein of America's inaction
  73. if he reclaimed his "19th province" - Kuwait - went first to the
  74. UN for permission to go to war with Iraq, then to Congress.

  76.  Bush (a super-rich Trilateralist) undertook the invasion of the
  77. sovereign nation of Somalia as a lame duck. President Bill
  78. Clinton (a Bilderberg member) left American soldiers there under
  79. the command of a UN general from Turkey.
  80.  
  81.  This was the first time in history American soldiers were placed
  82. under command of a foreign officer accountable not to the U.S.
  83. president nor Congress but to the UN. This passed with little
  84. public protest; it received scant media attention. More recently,
  85. Clinton has dispatched U.S. troops to Macedonia in the former
  86. Yugoslavia, under command of a Danish general who lectured them
  87. on behavior and announced he would have to "retrain" them.

  89. U.S. TROOPS UNDER FOREIGNER
  90.  
  91.  It is the first time American troops, paid by U.S. taxpayers,
  92. have worn the blue berets of the world army, marched under the UN
  93. flag and found themselves commanded by a foreigner who could
  94. order them to their deaths without conferring with an American
  95. president or Congress, not to mention American taxpayers or
  96. parents.
  97.  
  98.  While the conditioning of the public mind to accept this
  99. surrender of American sovereignty has been subtle over recent
  100. years, it is now becoming open.

  102.  First, Brian Urquhart, former UN "peacekeeping" chief, called
  103. for a standing world army in a widely read book. Then, recently,
  104. Stephen Rosenfeld devoted an entire op-ed column in the
  105. Washington Post calling for a world army under the UN.
  106.  
  107.  "A UN legion, first proposed 45 years ago, is an idea whose time
  108. has come," Rosenfeld wrote.
  109.  
  110. MEDIA IN CAHOOTS
  111.  
  112.  Katharine Graham, publisher of the Washington Post, and her top
  113. executives have long been members of both the Bilderberg group
  114. and the Trilateral Commission (the two groups have overlapping
  115. membership). This is also true of the publishers and top
  116. executives of the New York Times, Time magazine, the Los Angeles
  117. Times and other major publications.

  119.  These secretive groups are composed of leading figures from
  120. industry, banking, politics and the media╤the world's wealthiest,
  121. most influential and powerful. Yet the Establishment media never
  122. reports on their activities, and even denies the existence of the
  123. senior, more powerful Bilderberg group. The SPOTLIGHT has
  124. reported on these groups, and penetrated the secret, guarded
  125. meetings of the Bilderbergers for years. All members promise
  126. absolute secrecy and to collaborate in furthering the world
  127. shadow government's agenda.

  129.  Clinton, in a speech written at the Bilderberg meeting last
  130. spring in Greece, called for a new "Pacific Community" at the
  131. Tokyo summit.
  132.  
  133.  Clinton carried with him to Tokyo a report from the Carnegie
  134. Foundation which, like the Council on Foreign Relations, is one
  135. of many propaganda arms of the world shadow government. It called
  136. for a Pacific Community.
  137.  
  138.  The Pacific Community and American Community, as they emerge,
  139. are to be patterned on the European Community. They are to have
  140. legislatures like the European Parliament, which will ultimately
  141. override national laws. Common currencies, and then a world
  142. currency, are to be introduced in the years ahead.

  144.  The internationalist Establishment media and numerous "one-
  145. world" promoters and commentators called Clinton's speech
  146. "visionary."
